I just received information from Todd Andrews telling me that Lyman Paul Sosbey died this past April.   LP was a north end trainman who was most known for being on the train crew that saw the flying saucer as they went thru Clinton County.   Maybe someone has a copy of that story and could post that.   At present I am searching for LP's home address so I can send cards. 


Lyman Paul Sosbey

85, passed away in St. Petersburg, FL on April 28, 2012. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII. He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 65 years, Marylou, his children, Diane Devol, Debbie Cafaro, Paul and Doug Sosbey. Services will be in St. Petersburg on Thursday, May 3, 2012. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International at http://www.gideons.org. Thanks to Pete and Ron, I was able to obtain an address for Mrs Sosbey.  I prepared a card and it will go out on Tuesday.  Since the memory book is no longer available, I wrote our usual message of condolence inside the card.   The obituary indicated that Paul was an orchid grower.  That is not the hobby that comes to mind for a retired railroader but still sounds interesting
