Harrison Co. north of Corydon,IN. on bridge over I-64. Date and photographer unknown.

Bit of gosip trivia (not verified)

I understand the the ISHC (predicessor to INDOT) found is was less costly to build this bridge than to buy the LNAC.

Is the LNAC still owned by Lucas Oil?  A few years ago this section of track was used for car storage.

Still is Stanley. We have over 200 cars in storage at this time, most of them down the hill from this location toward downtown Corydon. Vic

I would guess this picture was taken in 1983 when the LNAC was celebrating their 100th birthday. They fixed up the caboose and gave rides. The caboose is now an office for Charlotte Lucas setting in front of their plant . Vic
