Monon Equipment at French Lick
« on: May 31, 2013, 04:46:53 pm »
Was at French Lick yesterday and drove past the rail museum to see the "Lynne".  Am curious that I did not see the Monon caboose (the one that was recently rehabbed).  Didn't have time to stop and ask.  The GP-16 and several of those double deck cars were on the track ready to go out, so doubt it was out on a train.  Thought it might be parked further down in the yard by the shop, but didn't see it anywhere.  Has it gone somewhere else?

Walker,
The caboose was moved to Jasper last week.  It has been rented for trip at that location.  They moved it when they took the Lynne to Jasper for media day.
