Salem Depot expansion

We have passed the $30,000 mark in our effort to raise $50,000 for The Depot expansion fund. Once we raise that amount we can collect our $200,000 grant from the Ogle Foundation. We are about halfway through the dollar-for-dollar match that is being offered to Monon Society members who donate before April 1.  If all goes well, we hope to have a groundbreaking for the next addiiton when the Society holds its May board meeting at Salem.

That is great news.  Hope fully more people will step up to the plate and donate what they can toward this great endeavor.   
We will be looking forward to Board of Directors Meeting in May !

I didn't know where to mention this but tornados that hit the east end of Pekin this PM are being shown on the Fox 41 news.  Looks bad and hoping /praying for them and Salem.  Not sure about damage in Salem.  There have been some deaths mentioned.  Multiple storms have hit the south end this day.
