Sandy Goodrick shot of a southbound local freight on the Michigan City Branch crossing the PRR diamonds at LaCrosse. This BL2 survives today and is used by the Kentucky Railway Museum.

LaCrosse had five railroads, four crossings, and two towers.  This was Worth, which controlled the Monon/PRR crossing and the Pere Marquette/PRR crossing.  Wade tower to the north still exists, and it controlled the Monon/C&O crossing.  The fourth crossing, PM and C&O was protected by a gate.  / Ron
