Cedar Lake Article Traces INHS S17

North enders & other interested Monon Followers

There is an article about Lassen’s Resort at Cedar Lake in the 1920's in the Summer 2017 issue of Traces of  Midwestern History (Published by the Indiana Historical Society ($7).

It gives the history and pictures of the resort to the end in1944 and  beyond where it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. Monon is mentioned as one of the ways guests would arrive and be picked up at the from the Monon station.
