Monon Burro Crane(s)
« on: October 10, 2017, 09:55:37 pm »
I have found a couple of photos of BC94, can anyone tell me if this was the only Burro crane the Monon had? If they had others, what were their numbers and what model were they?

Thanks!

Scott,

I'm not 100% sure of this, but I believe the Monon had a second burro crane, which was #106.  Attached is the only photo I have of it and if you zoom in on it, you can see the BC 106 in very faint lettering.  The caption I have for this photo is :

Cloverdale, IN; May 6, 1975; Ron Stuckey photo, J W Smith collection.

Based on the date, it's possible this may have been an L&N crane.  There is no lettering visible.
