Is it a Monon Pacific?

Found this on the Indianaalbum.com website. The stack is cutoff in the photo (which would be a clear identifier), but this looks like it could be Monon K-3 Pacific #422, circa 1940. Heading to a Ford dealers convention I imagine. Check out those polished or painted cylinder covers!

Eric,

Good eye on #422.  I have attached a side view of #422.  Notice the polished or white cylinder covers and the white trim on the side which appears the same in both photos also.  This photo was taken in Chicago on 6/26/34.

Another recently uploaded photo of 422 at South Hammond. An unusual location in that it is out behind and North of the Roundhouse. The hinged headlight glass is opened as well, like they just replaced the bulb perhaps. Also something I don't think I've ever seen in a Monon Steam photo.
