Replacing rails with welded rail. Unknown date and location. Does this are look familiar?

Yesterday I traveled north to the Monon Connection for lunch with some friends and noticed that there is still jointed rail between MP 105 and MP 93 on both sides of Chalmers.  Also on the first bridge north of Reynolds you can still see a faint "MONON" on the side where it was painted probably 60+ years ago.
