First, my name was mentioned on page 14 giving credit for the image at the top of the page. I certainly have no reason to call that my photo. I am not that old. I chose not to use that image in any of my southern Indiana books.
Secondly, I am wanting to know if anyone knows a date for the map shown on the bottom of page 15. With the showing of the K&IT, it had to be post 1912, as the second K&IT bridge was completed about then. There is not enough info to show the businesses that the PRR interchanged with when this map was originated. Any help out there. The Monon used the PRR bridge connecting Indiana and Louisville prior to the K&IT reconstruction in 1910-12. At that time the Monon had a passenger depot at the NE corner of the intersection of Main and Vincennes streets. It was replaced by the passenger depot across the tracks from Tommy Lancaster's restaurant around 1937.
