81525 is the caboose at KRM and last I knew had not been repaired since the fire. I have been hearing through the L&N and NC&StL forums that KRM has serious financial problems and is selling some of its collection for scrap. Until recently a rather famous and restorable NC&StL observation car was on the hit list which shows how desperate the situation has become. My concern is that 81525 with its fire damage is vulnerable to scrapping. Anyone have any intel on this?
