Dx AKA South Hammond (Built c1905) was first listed on CIL Employee Timetable #8 effective May 1,1904 and 49th and 55th Streets were last listed on the same timetable as the last northern station and terminal for 2nd Class Trains.
Timetable #9 (02/05/05) was the first for Dx to be the northern 2nd Class Terminal and 49th and 55th were not on it.
Puzzlement?
TT#4 in effect at the time of the trainsheet had the following:
49th Street was shown as the Second Class terminal in addition times are shown at 55th Street.
The trainsheet does not have a line for 49th Street but does for 55th Street, Times for Second Class trains are shown on the Chicago line and no entry on the 55th Street line!
The printed line for the date is “_________________________190____†on which:
“Monday July 8th 1" was added likely by J. R. Stemm (3rd trick) or H. E. Riggs (2nd trick). First trick was G. W. Nixon . This would be as Dispatcher Rick speculated it appears that the sheets were printed for several years in advance.
Also, the first listing of dispatchers at Lafayette instead of Monon an Bloomington was Timetable #3 March 31, 1901 a short while before the TT (#4) in effect for this trainsheet .
