Was in Whitesville last week. I was surprised to see a three-track yard. It is south of the elevator, and stretches for about a mile. What is it for?

All those buildings you see south of the elevator are part of a fertilizer plant.  Most of the time they only get a few loaded covered hoppers or tanks but once in awhile they get 80 car unit fertilizer trains.
