The group I used to work in at Intel has a 3D printer they use to make prototypes of new pieces of thermal control HW for testing microprocessors. The group manager is a modeler and he had an accurate replica of the Portland, OR Union Depot created on the 3D printer, one wall at a time. It is drawn and replicated to HO scale and looks very nice.
I wish that I had a good photo of it, but I do not at this time.
