Is He a Monon Man??

Today's Lafayette JC contains the obituary of Robert "Bob" Lemond.  In the contents of the obit, it says that he "worked on the railroad and retired from US Postal Service".   Does anyone know this man?  Was he a Monon worker at one time or did he work on one of the RPO cars?  Help would be appreciated.

He was never a member of the society so I can't help.  Maybe Ken Weller has his name in  his database.

I do not have Mr Lemond in the worker database; I don't know if he was a Monon employee.
