Vern,

This brings up a question.  If this is a northbound at Putnamville, is CSX backing trains down to Cloverdale or is there a siding to allow a locomotive to run around a train?

There is a small siding right near the grain elevator in Cloverdale, but it doesn't seem big enough for this type of maneuver.

George, there is a four track yard at the ethanol plant north of I-70.  Vern @ G.

Vern, I believe the elevator track in Cloverdale has a switch at both ends too, doesn't it?  / Ron

I'll add a little more about the Ethanol Plant.

There are five tracks inside the plant.  Track 1 is for loading covered hoppers and track 5 for loading tanks.  Tracks 2, 3 and 4 are storage tracks.  Normally and hopefully one of these tracks is clear.  If there is a clear track we will pull in it, set the cars to either of the other tracks and go back to the other end of the plant to pull.  A few times this place has gotten so full that we had to drop the cars by at Cement and shove them 5 miles to the ethaonl plant.

As for the Cloverdale elevator in town.  I can't remeber the last time anyone took cars down there.
