BNSF on the MONON

Three BNSF units running elephant style. Going north at Bennet Rd. leaving Linden siding, this morning.

Dose anyone know where this train comes from & where it is going? Or anything about it?

I really like the shot of it coming out of the siding. Great job Jim!  Vern @ G.

This was a train of wheat that comes off BNSF in Chicago.  I think they originate in North Dakota and they go to Beech Grove, IN.  I was on the train south out of Chicago to Lafayette on the 3rd and took it back to Chicago on the 6th.  The trains are usually 110 - 115 cars.  This train was 111 cars.  The CSX ID for the train is always G412 going south and G041 going north.

Is my color blindness getting worse, or is that a green signal on the shot of the train coming out of the spur? It seems odd that there would be a green signal looking back at a fouled track...

Accepted. My color vision sucks. No big surprise, I've known I was red/green color blind for a long time.
