The heart continues to beat

My friend Charles Buccola of Louisville reports there is activities on the old Monon's southend. Here is the message he sent me: There's still a heartbeat!
Spotted CSX CW60AC 5014 leading a X901 out of the yard this morning and learned that it was more cars going to the Hoosier Sub to be stored at Fogg. Sure wasn't the best time of day to chase a train going in that direction but what do you do. Got it coming off the bridge and down the street but that was about it. They soon found out that there was a washout near Pekin so they tied the train down at Bennettsville. MOW was on the way to repair the track and they will try to take compete the trip to Fogg tomorrow.

Since I sent the first message, I have driven down by Fogg passing track. There are a number of spine cars or pulpwood cars, on the passing track. Nice that they kept the main clear jsut in case anyone wants to run a train through here.
