L P Sosbey
« on: September 01, 2012, 10:35:25 am »
I just received information from Todd Andrews telling me that Lyman Paul Sosbey died this past April.   LP was a north end trainman who was most known for being on the train crew that saw the flying saucer as they went thru Clinton County.   Maybe someone has a copy of that story and could post that.   At present I am searching for LP's home address so I can send cards.

Lyman Paul Sosbey

Thanks to Pete and Ron, I was able to obtain an address for Mrs Sosbey.  I prepared a card and it will go out on Tuesday.  Since the memory book is no longer available, I wrote our usual message of condolence inside the card.   The obituary indicated that Paul was an orchid grower.  That is not the hobby that comes to mind for a retired railroader but still sounds interesting

Sharon. Keep up the great work. It may seem little or unimportant, but believe me, your efforts do help the healing when a love one departs. Thank you for all that you do.
